人を描く母と、人をつくる息子
初の親子展です。

それぞれが異なる表現を選びながら、互いの作品に触れるたび、
どこか似たものが、その奥に流れているように感じます。
言葉にできない感情、心の奥深くに沈むもの、
ふとした瞬間に、その人の内側から立ち現れる何か、
私たちは人物の奥に隠れた見えないものを見つめようとしているのかもしれません。

今回、初めて同じ空間に並ぶ、母と子の作品。
それぞれの内なる世界が、どのように響き合うのか。
互いに、敬意を寄せる作品とともに、ふたつのまなざしが交わる場をどうぞご覧ください。

[Statement]

A mother who paints people, and a son who creates them.
This is their first exhibition together as mother and son.

Although each has chosen a different form of expression, whenever they encounter one another’s work, they sense something similar flowing beneath the surface.

Emotions that cannot be put into words, things that lie deep within the heart, something that suddenly emerges from within a person in an unguarded moment — perhaps they are both seeking to gaze upon the invisible things concealed beneath the surface of the human figure.

For the first time, the works of mother and son will be presented together in the same space.

How will their inner worlds resonate with one another?

Alongside works they each hold in mutual respect, we invite you to witness the encounter between two distinct perspectives.
