「光と闇の物語」

物や事にはすべて光と影がありますが、今回の個展ではエピソードI として光と祈りを、
そしてエピソードII は他の会場での発表になりますが、塞がれた空間と闇をテーマにします。

同じモチーフを、見せ方を変えて真逆のテーマで表現をする試みです。

日々、ニ面性を抱えながら生きること、
いつでも光になり得て、
いつでも闇に転じる得ること、

そんな脆くて怖い人生ですが、しかし、楽しく幸せな瞬間もあると信じて生きていくしかない、希望のような諦めのような思いで生きています。

張り子と紙粘土、新聞紙で作った架空の植物を用いたインスタレーション作品になります。

「A Story of Light and Darkness」

[Statement]

All things and events contain both light and shadow.
In this solo exhibition, Episode I focuses on light and prayer. Episode II, to be presented at another venue, will explore enclosed spaces and darkness.

This is an attempt to express the same motifs in completely opposite themes by altering the way they are presented.

To live each day while carrying duality—
to always have the potential to become light,
and at any moment to turn into darkness.

Life can be fragile and frightening in this way. Yet we can only continue living by believing that there are also joyful and happy moments. I live with a feeling that is somewhere between hope and resignation.

This installation work features imaginary plants created from papier-mâché, paper clay, and newspaper.
